As you have read in my blogs and articles all over the internet, my story is rather technical, with experience as an aerospace engineer, software developer, and systems administrator.  They paid pretty well, though were plagued with budget cuts, project cancellations, and outsourcing.  Most memories were good, but the memories I make now are so much better and more meaningful.
